Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Russel and Leah Hunsinger. An avid fisherman, Jay enjoyed gardening and canoeing He was president of the Keystone Club and worked for Miller Keystone Blood Bank in Berks County. Jay is survived by his son Michael husband of Isabel Hunsinger of New Zealand, a sister, Lorraine Thompson of Ephrata, 2 grandchildren and his loving companion of 13, years, Patricia Kazmar, and her sons, Kurt and Kris Kazmar: He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie (Graybill) Hunsinger who passed away in 1992. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.

Heisey, 101, of the Brethren Village and formerly of Mount Joy, passed away, Tuesday, August 28, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Eli M.

and Anna Musser Heisey. Rhoda retired as a seamstress from Donegal Industries. She was a member of the Cross, Roads Brethren in Christ Church of Mount Joy. She is survived by her sisterin-law, Miriam (E. Musser) Heisey and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by the following brothers, Norman, Daniel, and Musser Heisey. Interment will be held Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the Cross Roads Brethren in Christ Church cemetery, 800 Donegal Springs Road, Mount Joy, PA. A memorial service will be held from the Chapel of the Brethren Village at 2:00 PM Saturday, with the Rev. Levi Ziegler officiating. Nissley Funeral Home, Mount Joy, in charge of arrangements. 653-1151 John R. Hawthorne John R. Hawthorne, 48, of Lancaster died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. A 1977 graduate of Hempfield High School, he later graduated from Millersville University in 1983.

After graduation, John worked for the RR Donnelly Corp. until 1998 when he worked for Weis Markets of Willow Street, PA. John attended Holy Spirit Lutheran Church of Lancaster, and loved sports, fishing canoeing. He was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan; he especially enjoyed the company of his dog Max. He was a trusting soul and always helped anyone in need.

Born July 31, 1959 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert L. Hawthorne, and Wandla I. Ellefson HawthorneBuhay. He will be missed by his brother Jim and sister-in-law, Camille Hawthorne, niece Alexis and nephew Mark, of New Jersey; his step-father Harry Buhay, and step-brothers Harry John and Barry Buhay of Lancaster County. A graveside memorial service will be held in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Marietta Mount Joy on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 11 AM.

Sprenkle, 60, died Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Lancaster General Hospital of complications of Huntington's disease.

He was a resident of Conestoga View Nursing Home, where he was well liked and well cared for by the staff for 13 years. A private funeral service will be held at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, 902 Mt. Rose York, with Rev. William Pfeiffer officiating.

Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Mr. Sprenkle was born May 26, 1947 in York County, the beloved son of Gene (Bose) Sprenkle of Millersville, and the late William F. Sprenkle, Jr. He had been a teacher in Illinois, and later a guidance counselor in New Jersey for 15 years.

He was a 1965 graduate of Penn Manor High School, and a 1969 graduate of Bradley University in Illinois. He was a recipient of a Masters degree in 1971 from University of Illinois. He had been an avid player of tennis and racquetball. He loved photography and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed traveling.

Mr. Sprenkle is survived, in addition to his mother bear, by a sister, Donna Meikrantz, and her husband Ronald of Lancaster; an aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Richard Meisenhelter, of York; and cousins. Xia Vang Moua Xia Vang Moua, 92, Reinholds, died I at home, Monday, August 27, 2007. Born in i Khouang, Laos, she was a daughter of the late Chia Lue and Neng (Moua) Vang. Her husband, Xiager Moua, died in 1966.

She was a member of the Hmong Alliance Church, Leola, and the Alliance Women. Surviving: daughters, Sia Mee Lee, Lyonne, France; Lee Vue, Ephrata; and Youa Moua, Hudson, WI; sons, Bee Moua, Reinholds, PA; and Thao Moua, St. Paul, MN; and numerous grand, great-grand, and greatgreat -grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, and formerly of Elkins Park, he was the husband of Dr. Dorothy Hahn Neff and they celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on May 23rd.

He was the son of the late Ralph M. and Mary Catharine Matthews ho*rner. Dr. ho*rner graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1935 and was a member of the Lamda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He also graduated from Hahnemann Medical College in 1939 and was a member of Phi Alpha Gamma Fraternity.

He was a Family Physician for 47 years in York, Pa. and served as a Medical Examiner for 30 Life Insurance Companies in Lancaster. He retired in 1988. Dr. ho*rner was a member of the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

He was also active with the York and Scottish Rite Masonic Order and Zembo Shrine and the B.P.O. Elks Club. He also enjoyed travel, dancing, classical music, writing poetry and swimming. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, B. Joan Les and Connie McMullen, both of Melbourne, Florida.

Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Life Celebration Service for Dr. ho*rner from Fred F. Groff, 234 West Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Saturday at 10:00 AM with The Rev.

Dr. W. Richard Foster, Jr. officiating. Interment will be held at Green Hill Church Cemetery, Conestoga, PA.
