Senior Vice President SBH Fashion/SBH+
Fast paced high volume Accessory company in midtown NYC looking for Product Development & Merchandising Director – Watches & Jewelry. Will report directly to the VP of Merchandising & Product Development for our Watches & Jewelry division. Excellent benefits.Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the VP of Merchandising & Product Development in merchandising of watch and jewelry products
- Support development with seasonal trend reports and quarterly line sheets
- Assist with ordering, tracking, and confirming samples for showroom and clients
- Collaborate cross functionally with the Design team to create and develop new products
- Partner with the team to help create and execute merchandising strategies to meet or exceed sales plans
- Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to inform product development and merchandising decisions
- Develop merchandise plans and pricing that support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns, and trends.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Partner across functions to manage vendor relationships, identify new vendors and negotiate favorable contract terms
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to shift priorities as necessary
- Additional projects and tasks as needed by the company
Skills and competencies required:
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and follow-through
- Productive, dedicated and process-driven team player with heavy attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritize workload successfully and execute projects with fast-turnaround, ahead of tight deadlines
- Highly proficient in Excel and power point
- Passion for your work and the overall business
