Copywriter | Content Writer - Sharing thoughts on Selfgrowth, Productivity, and Motivation
What is Google’s 7-11-4 rule?Google’s research has revealed that before someone buys from you, they need☑️7 hours of engagement with your brand.☑️11 touch points of engagement.☑️4 separate locations of contact. Before a person buys from you, on an average they need 7 hours of interaction with your brand or you. This can be reading your blog posts, going through your website, participating in webinars, or watching your videos.11 touch points of engagement mean 11 different instances where your buyer comes into contact with your brand. For example, advertisem*nts, one-on-one interactions, email newsletters and various social media profiles.4 separate locations mean they should come across your content through 4 different physical or digital spaces. For example, they may come across your advertisem*nt on social media. They may read emails from you. They may visit your physical store. They may attend your seminar or webinar. There may be slight confusion between touch points and separate locations.Touch points mean the number of times the buyer is exposed to your presence. If you’re looking for a content writer, when you come across my update for the first time on LinkedIn, this is the first touch point. When you find one of my links on Google, it is the second touch point. If you subscribe to my newsletter updates [https://zc.vg/Gu5BG] and when you receive your first issue, that is the third touch point. In this way, you need to come in contact with me through 11 such touch points before you decide to do business with me.Locations, as mentioned above, are physical or digital spaces through which you come in contact with me.LinkedIn. My blog. My newsletter updates. My search engine appearance. YouTube. Instagram.Like this update? Then do follow me for more such updates.

Brand + marketing partner for experience-driven brands | Agency Founder | We've helped 300+ clients grow by 35% in <90 days
I’ve noticed a trend that needs to stop. Today I had an advertiser reach out to me asking to connect. Clearly wanting access to our clients, his - very lengthy - email focused solely on *all* of the sales he closed for his company. Not once did he mention how any of the ads he sold supported the success of any of his customers. I’ve also had dozens of new clients reach out to us because they’re frustrated. They’ve spent significant amounts of money with these companies and haven’t seen a single result. Here’s what I believe every business should have access to with marketing:- Every marketing effort be directly tied to actual business goals (not just shiny metrics with terms and achronyms you’ve never heard of before).- Content (digital ads, etc) should be managed by experienced, certified professionals who collaborate closely with the client.- Anyone involved in a company’s marketing mix should actually give a damn about the impact their making; not on how it’s supporting their own pocket book. If you’re ready to audit your marketing, collaborate with industry professionals, and develop content that drives business goals, let’s connect. Because our team’s biggest measure of success is the success of our clients.

It's a tough world for small business owners out there. They ask for a marketing strategy, and all they get is tactics. Each expert boasts their single tool. Come shop here:- Social media- Events- Advertising- SEOSo little time is spent understanding the industry, the business, and, most importantly, the people managing the business. No wonder the business/agency relationship is filled with a lack of trust when the owner has been burned time and time again by short-term tactics that don't stand the test of time.Listen, no marketing agency or employee will strategize for you. The captain of the ship needs to chart the course and then command the crew. But how the hell do I start? Well, with your bread and butter. With the reason you are in business: your customers. Roll up your sleeves and unleash an obsessive desire to understand them completely. And you can only do that by forgetting yourself, your product, and your business. To really understand, you have to drop your agenda and your bias.Fill up your calendar with customer interviews. Go watch them in your store. Ask for their feedback whenever you can.OBSESSION.You will uncover invaluable insights that will answer all your burning questions:- What products should I add or remove?- Where can I reach my audience?- How to make my product the first choice of my customers? And much more. You'd be surprised how little some business owners care about their customers. But in the game of marketing, there's one golden rule:"Whoever understands the customer most, wins."-------------------------------------What activities would you include daily to understand your customers? Let me know if this sounds familiar...- You have a website but it hasn't been touched since it launched. - You're running ads but not sure they're working or not. Or even how to actually get leads from them. - You're paying for an email marketing service but at most, emailing your list about once a month- You feel like you've got all these marketing irons in the fire and yet, you're not seeing growth from any of it.This was exactly Talor'd Brands' last consulting client. He had great people helping him with parts and pieces of his marketing yet, because there wasn't a strategic plan, he wasn't seeing growth. This does not mean that your team(s) aren't good at what they are doing. What it does mean is that you need someone to be the line of communication between the teams and make sure they're all speaking the same language and have the same goals in mind. What we have done for this particular client has been to not only create a marketing strategy that encompasses everything he is already doing to bring it together and for utmost efficiency but also, create a brand messaging guide to ensure he stays well branded by everyone speaking the same language to his desired audience. Bringing messaging and strategy together to build on what he has already gotten started is setting him up for rapid growth and maintained success. If you are looking for that missing link to bring all of your marketing pieces together, send me a message now to get on my calendar. I would love to hear about your business and where you're at currently. The solution is in reach, sometimes it just takes a little outside perspective. Lets chat and see if we can help you find the forest through the trees.

Every company is a Digital Media Company. With a blend of 2+ decades in TV News, Digital Media, Video Marketing and Advertising, I help biz leaders win via Video + Social Media. Coaching, Strategy + Execution.
🫣 This is a text I got today from a business owner who had someone set up + run their digital marketing campaigns. Business owner was wondering why they were spending so much but weren’t getting many calls, after half a year ‘on’.🕵️♀️ One scan of their analytics and it was easy to identify their $$$ was essentially being lit on fire due to everything being set up in the laziest way possible with zero optimization + zero management. 📉 Legit *THOUSANDS of dollars* spent over the past 6+ months targeting 1. The wrong location(s)… 2. The wrong demographic for their brand with 3. The wrong messaging and 4. Zero effort spent on management / optimization to get even adequate results. 😡 WILD. This shizzz makes me SO MAD. … + superrr sad for small business owners who grind for every single dime. 🤚🏼 Just because someone claims to ‘do digital’ doesn’t mean they actually know how to dial into the right strategy for your brand and/or are proficient on all these different platforms. You cannot just ‘set it and forget it’ and think you’ll see results. 🫵🏼 Onus is more and more on business owners these days to dial into digital intel (even the basics) so they know *who they can + cannot trust* with their hard earned dollars. ♟️ Some of the advice thrown around in meetings + strategies I analyze are straight out of the 90’s / early 2000’s - Social media / digital evolves *daily* + therefore so should your strategy and efforts. 🎯 Your business success depends on it… now moreso than ever.www.BizBOXTV.com
